If you were able to see your baby when you were seven weeks pregnant you would notice that hands and feet are starting to form at this time. However, you may also notice that your baby also seems to have a small tail. That is because your baby is still an embryo at this time and your baby needs to continue growing. You baby is also going to continue growing at amazing rates. Right now, he or she is only about one inch long but that is twice the size that your baby was last week. Your babies internal organs are beginning to form and they are working very hard to help your baby grow and survive the next several months until they are able to join you and your family.
Personally, you may be feeling a lot of morning sickness at this time. That is going to make it very difficult for you to eat and you may feel very tired. You are going to want to keep some crackers or something else that is very light beside your bed or in your purse. You will be able to munch on these to help settle your stomach when you begin to feel sick to your stomach. This may help ease some of the morning sickness. Something that is very important to remember about morning sickness is that it can happen at any time during the day or night, so you need to be prepared for it at all times. You will most likely begin to feel better by the time you are approximately 14 weeks pregnant so hang in there.
You may also notice that you need to pee a lot more now that you are seven weeks pregnant. This is because you have a lot more fluid making its way through your kidneys. This is going to continue to get worse as you make your way further through your pregnancy. You will notice that your uterus is going to be placing a lot more pressure on your bladder the further along you get. This is going to contribute to your need to go the restroom as well.
When you are seven weeks pregnant you are going to want to begin scheduling your doctor’s appointments. You are going to want to tell your doctor a lot of different information at this time. The doctor’s office is going to want to know when you had your last period. They are also going to want to know how you have been feeling. This is also a great time for you to begin asking questions as well such as what you should and should not be eating. Your doctor may also put you on vitamins that are going to help you and your baby remain healthy while you are pregnant.
You should realize that this is going to be the first of many appointments so whenever you have questions or concerns you should write them down. You will be able to ask your doctor about these things at each visit. Take the time to relax and enjoy this time, if you can. You are only seven weeks pregnant for a little while.
