Natural Face Lift
How to Achieve a Natural Face Lift
Have you tried to find ways to obtain a natural face lift but come up empty-handed? You don’t have to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on chemical peels or surgical procedures in order to get a more youthful look to your skin. There are a few solutions that are not only cheap but can be highly effective against wrinkles, saggy skin, and diminished pallor. Let’s take a look at a few of the ways you can obtain a natural face lift…
The idea of doing exercises with your face may seem a bit laughable at first, but there truly is logic behind this! Just like the rest of your body, your face is made up of several groups of muscles. As we age, our muscles tend to lose their tone and require much more physical stimulation in order to remain taught. The skin and underlying muscle of the face is one of the more difficult areas in which to prevent signs of aging, which means that you must make specific attempts to target this area. This natural face lift method is proven to work as long as you do it regularly.
The following exercises are perfect for toning up the delicate muscles and skin around the eyes by using resistance training. To do the first exercise, start by firmly closing your eyes. Put your thumbs at the outer corner of your eyes and gently pull the skin towards your temple. Try to keep your eyes closed while doing this. Relax the tension created by your thumbs, then repeat 12 times. This next exercise will make you feel a bit funny, but it has excellent results if done correctly. Lift your eyebrows upward, as if you were really surprised. Now begin to close your eyes but stop halfway. You may feel like you are squinting. This tenses many of the muscles surrounding the eyes and should be done 10 to 15 times a day, every day, for best results.
This next exercise is geared towards toning the skin under the chin and on the neck. (We’ve all seen how flappy this area can get if it is left unchecked!) Begin by tilting your head back until it the skin of your neck has tightened. Now purse your lips as if you’re going to kiss the sky. As you make the kissing motion, try to stretch your lips as far as possible until you feel the skin of your chin tighten. Hold the kiss position for a few seconds and then relax. Repeat ten times daily.
Homemade Restorative Masks
No matter how much exercise we do to keep out muscles and skin nice and tight, there is still the matter of dermal health that needs to be addressed. As skin ages, it becomes less supple and moist. Poor skin health can result in loss of collagen which leads to wrinkles and poor skin tone. Take a look at the following homemade facial mask recipes that are designed to put essential vitamins back into the skin.
This first mask is designed to put the most essential vitamin back into the skin—vitamin e. You will need a quarter of a teaspoon of pure vitamin e oil, a quarter of a cup of whipping cream (heavy works best for a mask-like texture), and one peeled banana. Use a fork or potato masher to smash the banana into a smooth, thick consistency. In a large bowl, add all of the ingredients together and mix them well until they are all incorporated. Use your fingers to spread the mixture on your face, chin, and neck, but be careful not to get the paste into your eyes. Allow the mixture to soak into the skin for about 15 minutes. After this time, rinse the paste away from the skin using warm water. Remove any remains with a damp wash cloth.
For a soft and youthful glow, try this recipe: juice from one large lemon, two egg whites, a tablespoon of pure witch hazel (not the kind with added alcohol), and four tablespoons of powdered milk. Beat all of the ingredients together in a bowl until they are fully incorporated. Apply the mixture to your face, chin, and throat liberally. Allow this to sit for at least 15 minutes, then rinse away with warm water and a wash cloth.
